Frequently Asked Questions

Made-to-order

What does Made-to-Order mean?

Made-to-order simply means we don’t produce a garment until an order has been placed for it.

For you as a customer it means a newly produced garment, specially made for you, whenever you place an order. This makes for a more mindful shopping experience and contributes to a less wasteful, more humane approach to consumption.

Why Made-to-Order?

From a sustainable standpoint, we want to reduce waste by not keeping large inventory or cutting into material that isn’t needed. By producing only what is ordered, we can avoid imprecise predictions of demand for a product.

This allows us to keep investment costs lower and be more flexible with our collections. It also expands the range of products, colors, and sizing options we can offer for the petite woman.

What is a lead time?

Lead time is the amount of time it takes to produce a made-to-order garment and prepare it for shipment. The lead time does not include pick up for shipping and delivery.

Can I change my order?

We will do our utmost to accommodate any changes to your order (colour, size) as long as your order has not yet gone into production. Email us at support@cimeliathelabel.com as soon as possible if you want to make a change. Please be aware that changes in your order may increase the delivery time.

What is the current lead time?

Our current lead time is approximately 1-2 weeks. Please check our Shop page for the most up-to-date lead time information.

Can I cancel my order?

Since each garment is made-to-order, we are unable to accept cancellations for refunds.
